About Muchhala Mahavir
A Jain temple to Mahavira at the edge of the Kumbhalgarh forest near Ghanerao, unusual for the story that its idol once sprouted a moustache, hence the name. The temple is old, with two painted elephants at the gate, and it sits in thick scrub where you may hear langurs. Ten minutes from Ghanerao and half an hour from Ranakpur, so it fits the same day.
