About Nishat Bagh
The Garden of Joy, laid out in 1633 by Asif Khan, the brother of Noor Jahan, in twelve terraces that rise from the lake. It has the best view over Dal and the town, and fountains line the central water channel. Visit in the afternoon for light on the lake, and note that it is crowded at weekends.
