About Mebo
A cluster of Adi villages across the Siang from Pasighat, reached over the Ranaghat bridge, with the big Padam villages spread over the plain towards the Sisseri river. Solung on 1 September is the harvest festival, with mithun sacrifice, apong (rice beer) and the ponung dance. The road on to Roing over the Sisseri bridge means Mebo is no longer a dead end.
