About Kekar Monying

A rock cliff above the Siang near Rottung, about 25 km north of Pasighat, where the Adi held off the British punitive column of the 1911 Anglo-Abor war for a day before the stockade was taken. It is a site of memory more than a monument: a plaque, the cliff, the river below. Combine it with the Rottung rafting put-in.
