About Mawsmai Cave
A limestone cave near Cherrapunji with a lit walkway of about 150 metres, passing stalactites and stalagmites. Some of the passages are narrow and you need to squeeze or bend, and the floor is wet. It is a good short stop with Nohkalikai Falls, and local lights keep it safe for most visitors. Avoid heavy rain, when the cave can fill with water.
