About Mawlynnong

A small Khasi village, around 90 km from Shillong, known as one of the cleanest villages in India. Bamboo dustbins stand along the stone paths, gardens bloom outside the houses, and homestays give you a taste of local food. A living root bridge at Riwai village is a short walk, and a bamboo Sky View tower looks over the plains of Bangladesh. Pair it with a trip to Dawki.
