About Madhi, Kanifnath Samadhi
The samadhi of Kanifnath, one of the nine Naths, reached through an entrance so low and narrow that people go in sideways. The annual yatra here is one of the largest in this part of the state and draws nomadic and pastoral communities from across Maharashtra, which makes it a very different crowd from the Warkari circuit.
What to see and do
- The famously narrow samadhi entrance
- Annual yatra around Holi, drawing nomadic communities
- Nath sampraday traditions rarely seen elsewhere
- Hilltop position over the Pathardi plain
