About Kushinagar Buddha Museum
A state museum opened in the 1990s holding sculpture, terracotta, coins and seals from the Kushinagar excavations and other sites in the region, with Gupta-period Buddha images the highlight. An hour is enough. It sits between the Mahaparinirvana Temple and the Thai monastery, so fit it into the walk.
What to see and do

- Excavation finds from Kushinagar
- Coins and seals
