About Tlabung
The old Demagiri, a river town at only 100 metres on the Khawthlangtuipui, the river Bangladesh calls the Karnaphuli, and the lowest and hottest place most visitors to Mizoram will reach. It is about three hours below Lunglei on a road that drops the whole way. The border is right here, boats work the river and the market has a flavour of the Chittagong hills, but there is no crossing for tourists.
