About Lunglei
The second town of Mizoram, about six hours south of Aizawl on a ridge at 1200 metres. The name means bridge of rock, after a natural stone arch over the Nghasih stream below the town, which you can still walk down to. It is the base for everything in the south: the two sanctuaries, Tlabung on the Bangladesh border, and the long road on to Lawngtlai and Siaha.
