About Talab-e-Shahi and Khanpur Mahal
A lake and pavilion built in 1622 as a hunting lodge for Prince Khurram, later Shah Jahan, some 27 kilometres from Dholpur near Bari. Khanpur Mahal on the bank is a plain Mughal building; the lake is the reason to come in winter, when it holds a decent count of ducks and waders. The Dholpur rulers used it later for shooting.
