About Nahargarh Fort
Jai Singh II built it in 1734 as a retreat on the ridge over the city, and the Madhavendra Bhawan added in the 1880s has nine identical suites for nine queens linked by a corridor only the king used. Most people come for sunset from the walls. The stepwell inside the fort is the one from Rang De Basanti. The road up from Brahmpuri is short and you can also walk it.
