About Mukha Falls

Mukha Dari, where the Belan drops into a gorge near Ghorawal, is the best-known fall in Sonbhadra and a sheet of water in August. The flow dies back to a trickle by December and the sandstone lip is slick when wet; more than one picnic has ended badly here, so stay off the edge. There is a viewing platform and a car park and not much else.
