About Kardang Monastery
A 12th century monastery across the river from Keylong, once the main centre of the Drukpa order in Lahaul. It holds a library of Kangyur and Tangyur books, old murals and a large prayer wheel. The walk or short drive from Keylong gives a fine view of the valley.
