About Dudhwa Rhino Area (Salukapur)
The fenced rhino rehabilitation area in the Sonaripur range of Dudhwa, where one-horned rhinos brought from Assam and Nepal in 1984 were released. It is the only place in Uttar Pradesh to see rhinos in the wild, and sightings here are more reliable than tigers anywhere in the park. Access is with a forest guide from the Salukapur side.
