A rural ashram and Shiva temple near Parsa that Saran tradition attaches to a rishi of the epic period, with an annual fair and a steady trickle of local pilgrims. Nothing is old to the eye and there is no signage; it earns its place because people in the district name it. Half an hour off the Chhapra to Sonepur road.
