About Devarayanadurga
A forested rocky hill 15 km east of Tumakuru with two Narasimha temples, the Bhoga Narasimha at the base village and the Yoga Narasimha on the summit. A motorable road climbs most of the way and steps do the rest, passing the walls of a fort held by the Mysuru rulers. The summit view covers the plains and the lakes below and is popular at sunrise. Namada Chilume is on the same road.
