About Bhadra Maruti, Khultabad
One of only three temples in India where Hanuman is shown sleeping rather than standing or kneeling. The story is that he lay down listening to King Bhadrasen singing and was so absorbed he did not get up. It sits in Khultabad, ten minutes from Ellora, in the same small town as Aurangzeb’s very plain grave.
