About Betaab Valley
A green valley about 15 km from Pahalgam, named after the film Betaab, shot here in 1983. The Lidder flows past, with meadows and pine forest on both sides, and local families picnic in the shade. It is easy to reach by road, and is an unhurried place to spend an afternoon.
