About Alsisar
A small thikana town north of Jhunjhunu where the Alsisar Mahal, a restored palace, is a heritage hotel and since 2013 the site of the Magnetic Fields music festival every December. The rest of the year it is a sleepy village with a handful of painted havelis, a couple of them restored, and a fort wall you can walk under. Well off the Mandawa-Nawalgarh circuit.
