About Thenzawl
A town of weavers on a wide gentle plateau, about 137 km and four hours south of Aizawl, where a loom sits under almost every house and the puan sold in Aizawl is largely made. Mizoram Tourism has put a golf resort and a deer park here and the tourist lodge is decent, so it is the natural base for Vantawng and Tuirihiau. Buy cloth directly from the weavers.
