About Chhingpuii Thlan
A memorial on the Aizawl to Serchhip road between Baktawng and Chhingchhip to Chhingpuii, a woman of Ruanzawl remembered for her beauty who was taken and killed during the east against west war of the Mizo chiefs around 1880. The stone marks where she is said to have died. It is a roadside stop of a few minutes, and one of the few places where that period of history is marked at all.
