About Baktawng

The village of the family of Ziona Chana, who had 38 wives and 89 children and was described as the head of the largest family in the world when he died in June 2021. The family still lives in Chhuan Thar Run, the four-storey house with around a hundred rooms, and the sect he led still runs the village. Visitors can look from outside and are usually welcomed politely; it is a home, not a museum.
