About Tarkeen Dargah
The shrine of Hamiduddin Nagauri, a 13th-century disciple of Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer who lived as a farmer and refused all royal gifts, which earned him the title Sultan ul Tarikeen, king of those who renounce. It is the second Chishti shrine of Rajasthan after Ajmer, much smaller and calmer, with a cool marble courtyard a short walk from the fort. The urs draws qawwals each year.
