About Sundha Mata Temple

A Chamunda temple of 1262 on a hill of the Aravallis on the Jalore and Sirohi border, at about 1,220 metres, with a small waterfall beside it in the rains. Rajasthan built its first passenger ropeway here in 2006, so the climb is optional. The white marble shrine is not the draw so much as the setting: the hill is green after the monsoon and the view runs to Mount Abu.
