About Singarayakonda
Singarayakonda is a small town on NH16 between Ongole and Kavali with a Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on the hill above it. The shrine is reached by a ghat road or steps and looks out over the coastal plain to the sea. The Brahmotsavam in March is the main festival. Because the hill stands right beside the highway it is an easy halt for anyone driving between Chennai and Vijayawada.
