About Shobhnath Jain Temple
Shravasti is also a Jain tirth: the third Tirthankara, Sambhavnath, is held to have been born here. The Shobhnath temple inside the Mahet ramparts is a medieval brick shrine with later additions, and Jain pilgrims come in modest numbers year round. It is a short walk from the two big stupas.
