About Sethani ka Johara
A large stepped reservoir on the Ratangarh road built in 1899 by the widow of the merchant Bhagwan Das Bagla as relief work during the Chhappaniya famine, one of the worst in the history of the state. It still holds water for most of the year, which is rare here, with chhatris and ghats around the edge and waterbirds in winter. Best at sunset.
