About Ratangarh
Ratan Singh of Bikaner founded the town in 1820 and gave it a fort whose walls and gates still frame the old centre, with a clock tower at the crossroads. The havelis are fewer and plainer than in Churu but there are painted ones to find in the lanes. It is a railway junction on the Bikaner line and a fair stop between Churu and Salasar.
What to see and do
- Fort walls and gateways
- Ghanta Ghar at the crossroads
