About Rohtang Pass
A pass at 3,978 metres on the Pir Panjal range between the Kullu and Lahaul valleys, with snow even in June. A permit is required, with a daily cap, and the pass is closed on Tuesdays. The permit is not needed to cross the Atal Tunnel. Check rohtangpermits.hp.gov.in for the current rules, and carry warm clothes.
