About Pushkar Ghat and Kotilingeswara Temple
The river front of Rajamahendravaram is a line of bathing ghats, with Pushkar ghat and the Kotilingeswara temple at its heart. Pushkar ghat is the main site of the Godavari Pushkaralu, the twelve yearly festival that last drew millions in 2015 and returns in 2027. The Kotilingeswara Shiva temple at Kotilingala revu is one of the oldest in the town, and the ISKCON temple and Gowthami ghat are a short walk along the bank. Evenings bring a river aarti and boat rides.
