About Poonchhari ka Lautha
The far end of the Govardhan parikrama path crosses into Rajasthan at Poonchhari, and the Lautha shrine to Hanuman marks the turn. Parikrama walkers stop here to rest, and on Govardhan Puja and through Kartik the lane is packed. There is little to see beyond the shrine and the crowd, but it is an honest part of the Braj circuit.
What to see and do
- The Lautha Hanuman shrine at the turn of the parikrama
- Govardhan parikrama walkers
- Kartik and Govardhan Puja crowds
