About Parichha Dam
A Betwa reservoir 25 km from Jhansi on the Kanpur highway, with the thermal power station chimneys on one side and open water on the other. The UP tourism water sports centre runs motor boats and jet skis in winter, and it is where Jhansi goes on a Sunday. Nothing historic, just a big piece of water with a breeze.
