About Government Museum Jhansi
A state museum opened in 1978, strongest on the Chandela stone sculpture dug up around Mahoba, Deogarh and the Khajuraho country, with a gallery on the 1857 revolt that holds weapons, coins and paintings. It is a quiet hour and a good primer before the fort. Closed on Mondays.
