About Panth Pakar
An old banyan tree by the road, under which Sita’s palanquin is said to have rested on the journey from Janakpur to Ayodhya after the wedding. There is a small shrine and the tree itself, which is genuinely large and old. Ten minutes, but pilgrims on the Ramayana circuit do not skip it.
