About Nrupatunga Betta
Nrupatunga Betta is a low hill above Unkal lake with a landscaped park on top and a road that winds up from the Hubballi to Dharwad highway. People drive or walk up in the evening for the view across Hubballi city, the lake and the surrounding farmland, and it is one of the few open high points in the twin cities. A sunrise walk is popular with locals. It is about 7 km from Hubballi railway station and can be combined with Unkal lake below.
