About Kotappakonda
Kotappakonda is a three peaked hill 13 km from Narasaraopet with the Trikoteswara Swamy Shiva temple on top. A ghat road and a long flight of steps both reach the shrine, and the hill is said to show three peaks from every side. The Maha Shivaratri fair in February or March is one of the largest in coastal Andhra, known for the tall lit prabhalu carried in from the villages. Outside festival time it is a quiet climb with good views.
