About Kondajji
A village with a lake and low forested hills, best known as the site of a large Scouts and Guides camp that has hosted state and national jamborees since the 1960s. The lake fills after the monsoon and the wooded slopes are used for short walks and picnics by families from Harihar and Davanagere. There is a small Ramalingeshwara temple and a forest department park by the water. Kondajji is about 15 km from Harihar off the Shivamogga road.
