About Khereshwar Dham
The main Shiva temple of Aligarh, on the Agra road at the southern edge of town. It is an ordinary temple most of the year and a very crowded one in Shravan, when kanwariyas walking back from the Ganga pour their water on the lingam through the month, peaking on the Shravan Shivratri. Go early on a weekday if you want to actually see the shrine.
