About Kharagpur Lake
A reservoir behind an old dam on the edge of Haveli Kharagpur, ringed by the first ridges of the Kharagpur hills. It is a picnic and boating spot for Munger and Jamui, best in the late afternoon when the hills go gold, and it sits on the road to Rishikund and Bhimbandh so the three make a day.
