About Katariasar
A Bishnoi and Jasnathi village about 45 km east of Bikaner on the Jaipur road, where the dunes start and chinkara graze close to the houses because nobody hunts them. The Jasnathi community here perform the fire dance, walking through live coals, at their fairs. Camps run camel rides and overnight stays; it is the easiest desert night out of Bikaner. Summer is not the time.
