About Janapada Loka
A folk museum on the Mysuru highway just before Ramanagara, run by the Karnataka Janapada Parishat since 1994. Its galleries hold puppets, masks, weapons, farm tools and household objects from rural Karnataka, and there is a model village, an open air theatre and a pond. It is a good stop with children on the way to Mysuru. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
