About Holy Spirit Church, Margao
A white baroque church on the main square of Margao, built in the 1500s and rebuilt in the 1600s, with a pair of towers and fine carved altars inside. The square in front is a pleasant spot, and the town has an old market and sweet shops nearby. Combine it with an easy walk around the old lanes. Dress modestly and be quiet in the church.
