About Harni Mahadev
A Shiva temple in a cleft between two hills 7 km from Bhilwara town, with the lingam in a natural rock hollow and a small stream behind it after the rains. It is Bhilwara's picnic spot as much as its temple, and on Shravan Mondays and Mahashivratri the whole town seems to be there. The rest of the year it is quiet and green.
What to see and do
- The lingam in its rock hollow
- The gorge and stream in the monsoon
- Shravan Monday and Shivratri crowds
