About Hanuman Garhi
A fort-like Hanuman temple on a mound in the middle of town, reached by 76 steps, and by custom the first stop before Ram Lalla. The present structure dates to the 18th century and was built on land granted by the Nawabs of Awadh. Buy the laddoos outside; the queue moves fast except on Tuesdays.
