About Gulab Bari
The tomb of Shuja-ud-Daula, third Nawab of Awadh, who made Faizabad his capital and died in 1775. It sits in a walled rose garden, hence the name, with an imambara and a gateway in the Nawabi manner. Well kept, shady and usually empty, which is exactly what you want after the Ayodhya crowds.
