About Hadimba Devi Temple

A wooden temple dated 1553 in the deodar forest of Manali, dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima in the Mahabharata. The temple has a four tiered pagoda roof carved with animal horns and wood, and a quiet cedar forest all around. It gets busy with tourists, so go early in the morning.
