About Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib
Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib marks the spot where Guru Nanak is believed to have visited Bidar in 1512 and where a spring of sweet water rose in a dry, salty area. The spring still flows into the Amrit Kund tank at the base of the hill and pilgrims bathe in it. The gurudwara is about 2 km from Bidar bus stand and runs a langar and rooms for pilgrims through the year.
