About Gulmarg
The Meadow of Flowers, a high bowl of meadow ringed by pine forest and the Pir Panjal, and India's best known ski resort. In winter it has deep powder and a gondola that rises to Apharwat. In spring and summer the meadows are covered with flowers and open for walking, golf and horse rides. It is busy in the peak season, so book stays early.
