About Gomti Udgam
The source of the Gomti, the river that flows through Lucknow, is a lake at Madho Tanda that the state has recently cleaned up and landscaped, with a temple, ghats and a walking path. It is a modest place, a lake among fields, but there is something to standing at the start of a 900-kilometre river.
